Utthita Trikonasana

The extended triangle pose.

Benefits the whole body especially tones the leg muscles and ankles and opens the chest.

Utthita Parsvakonasana

Extended side pose.

Benefits the whole body, legs and ankles. The side trunk is full extended aiding chest and digestion.

Ardha Chandrasana

Half moon pose.

Benefits the legs, tones the lower part of the back and nerves to the legs.

Virabhadrasana I

The warrior pose I

Benefits the chest bringing openness and greater mobility to the shoulders. Tones the legs and ankles.

Virabhadrasana II

The warrior pose II

Benefits by bringing elasticity to the legs and aids the abdominal organs.

Virabhadrasana III

The warrior pose III

Benefits the legs and improve balance and general posture and tones abdominal organs.

Parivrtta Trikonasana

Revolving triangle pose.

Benefits the legs and strengthens the hips. Relieves pains in the back and tones abdominal organs.

Parivrtta Parsvakonasana

Revolving lateral angle pose.

Benefits the abdominal organs and help the digestive process. Brings more mobility to the spine.

Prasarita Padottanasana

Expanded leg pose.

Benefits the leg muscles and help the digestive process.


Forward extension.

Benefits all the abdominal organs and cures stomach pains. Spinal nerves are rejuvenated.

Adho Mukha Svanasana

Face down dog pose.

Benefits are very wide ranging. Legs and ankles are toned, removes stiffness in the shoulders, abdominal muscle strengthened. Improves energy flow in body when held longer.



Benefits the brain cells due to increased blood flow. The immune system is strengthened.

Benefits the spine and the chest.

Benefits the shoulders with the whole spine extended and toned.

Benefits the arms strengthening them and contracting the abdominal organs helping the process of elimination and rejuvenation.

Janu Sirsasana

Knee and head pose.

Benefits the legs and back. Tones the spleen, liver and kidneys.

Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana

Rotating head to knee pose.

Benefits same as Janu Sirsasana with better blood circulation to the spine. Invigorating pose.


Forward Bend.

Benefits the spine, heart and internal organs and brings elasticity to the legs.
